Reading this journal will expose you to potentially hazardous levels of text about orchestral music, chamber music, concerts attended and performed, historically informed performance, assorted dead composers (most notably Mahler and Shostakovich), musicology and ethnomusicology, original compositions, Javanese gamelan, and mariachi.
Music is not, however, the only thing you will contract by close contact with this journal. It is also a carrier of geology. It is riddled with faults and prone to earthquakes, but has not been seismically retrofitted.
Prolonged contact with this journal also increases the risk of infection by photo dumps and original artwork, both of which may be linked with music or science, but also may carry strains of historical reference.
